These are fabrics which are wider than normal and useful for backing quilts although they can also be used in the same way as the normal width fabrics. |

This fabric is wider than normal and would make a fantastic backing for a little boy's quilt. The motifs are very big and could be used as 'cheating' applique on cushions, curtains, wallhangings etc to match the quilt back. As the pattern is so big fat quarters are not really a good option for this fabric and so the pricing is per METRE . £12.00 |

This fabric has a useable width of 55" (141cm) and so is very suitable for backing a quilt without having a join. The colours are very suitable for a little girl's quilt or a cot quilt and it makes a very pretty backing. £3.00 |

This fabric is 60" (150cm) wide. It has several different sailing boats appliqued onto the pale blue background. It can be used for cushions or wallhangings or each boat appliqued onto another background to coordinate. The boats are appliqued with zigzag stitch and can be left like that or sewn over with satin stitch if preferred. Each metre has 5 boats £12.00 |
